Compensation coupling with elastomer MK
General Information
The compensatory element of the elastomer coupling is the elastomer spider. As a central component of the connecting coupling it is determining the characteristics. To ensure the optimum customer needs the elastomer spiders are available with different characteristics. All elastomer spiders transmit the torque backlash-free and vibration absorbing.
Pre-Compression
The electrical pre-compression varies dependent on the shore hardness of the elastomer spider, the size of the coupling and the manufacturing tolerances. This results for the axial insertion force: from light (as a sliding fit at a torsional soft elastomer spider) to heavy (with large pre-compression at torsion harded sprocket).
