Cable Tension Meter HF 37/LPT
Application field:
These models of tension meters have been specially designed to measure the tension of installed cables without having to insert an in-line dynamometer or dismantle the installation to take measurements.
Operating principle:
Tensile force measurement using strain gauges. The deflection of the cable acting through the tension meter generates a tangential force proportional to the tensile load applied to the cable. The deformation produced by this force is measured by a strain gauge bridge integrated into the sensor. The signal generated by the strain gauges is then processed by the associated electronics and displayed on the LCD screen.

Options:
Specific Calibration: The standard database includes a series of cables and contact wires identified by a “calibration reference.”Each number corresponds to a calibration performed on the associated cable. The database can be expanded with specific cables or ropes — a sample of each cable type is required, and the calibration results will be added to the database.
PC Software: All our devices are supplied by default with Loader Light, data management software that allows visualization and transfer of recorded measurements to a PC. Other available software includes:
• Loader Tech: for adding a calibration remotely
• Loader Full: for adding a calibration remotely and managing recordings
• Monitor: for real-time data acquisition
