Alveotubes are aluminum profiles. The unique and patented profile is very light but also very rigid in construction. Our Alveotube consists of an inner tube and outer tube that are connected by means of transverse partitions (Alveos).
By means of an extrusion process, we are able to supply our Alveotubes in seven diameters up to a maximum length of approximately 6 metres.
Our Alveotubes can be ideally used wherever web-shaped materials are made and processed. Web-shaped materials such as paper, foils, textiles, non-wovens, carpets and laminates.
We also offer you various finishing operations such as straightening, grinding, (plasma) coating, rubberizing, etc. In fact, almost anything is possible.
As mentioned, our Alveotubes are usually used as guided rollers in machines and accumulators. However, with minor adjustments, they can also be constructed as cooling rollers.
One of the post-processing options is to make grooves on the surface of the Alveotube. This has the advantage that materials adhere less quickly to the guide roller. Another advantage is that the roller functions as a light wide-stretching roller. The grooves can run from the center to the ends and thus stretch the material across the width.
We currently supply our Alveotubes 3RC in diameters 48, 60, 80, 100, 120, 130, 145, 200 and 230mm.
